The Pagan Heritage

Harken back to the tales of the ancients. The Greeks had a plethora of deities, all filled to the brim with very human foibles and appetites. Zeus was a shape-shifting pervert; a notorious womanizer and sired many demigods. Pan was a bisexual, size-queen who got down and dirty with the ladies and the fellas. The accounts of the Greco-Roman gods' sexual escapades were endless. The licentiousness of gods not only played a part in Greek mythology, but many myths also speak of horny gods. Ancient Japanese mythology has an account of how light literally returned to the world: It was all thanks to Uzume, goddess of entertainment, and her famous striptease for the gods; all of which were merely trying to lure Amaterasu, goddess of the sun, out of a cave with promises of a dirty good time.
