Strolling Down The Left Hand Path With...Hydra M. Star

Hello, dear readers! As I was perusing my own work online, I came to a realization after looking at all of the interviews I have done... I have not interviewed any witches! So, this time I have decided to rectify that by spending some time with a very special and witchy woman; Hydra M. Star! Hydra M. Star is an artist, publisher, writer, and unicorn aficionado.  She is the owner of Infernal Ink Books, a publishing company that focuses on erotic horror as well as its sister magazine, Infernal Ink Magazine, all of which can be found on her website  http://www.hydramstar.com/ . I decided to ask her a few questions about her work, how she began her treading of the left-hand path, and what future projects she has coming down the line. So, without further ado, join us as we talk a walk on the third side with none other than Hydra M. Star. 1. How did you discover Satanism? That is a very long story. I’ll try to make it brief. Basically, my family experienced its own ...

Strolling Down The Left Hand Path With...Colin Martin AKA The Ringmaster

Greetings friends, this time I have a special treat for everyone! I have a special guest for all of my dear readers. This time, I got to sit down with Citizen Colin Martin, otherwise known as The Ringmaster. Colin Martin is a writer, a video producer, and an all-around fun dude to hang out with.  He is the leader of the horror story troupe, The Satanic Players Society , which focuses on telling intriguing tales of the macabre and horrifying. Be on the lookout especially for some stories and poems contributed by yours truly. He is also the publisher of a collection of short fiction and poems called The Horror and Madness of the Sideshow.  You can find Colin at the Satanic Players Society website: https://www.satanicplayerssociety.com/ And as a shameless shoehorn of self-promotion, you can find me on youtube where I talk about the society and how I became involved with the madness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=562&v=MPMlj3Kn-WE So without fur...

The First Rite!

(Although I am a member, I do not speak for the Church of Satan) During the final week of May, I went to a gathering of Satanists. All attendees were dressed up to the nine's and had cheerful faces. Food and drink were in abundance, booze, and smokes were a-plenty, and there was, overall, jovial energy that permeated the entire household. To onlookers who observed some of us congregating outside, they saw a group of snazzily dressed individuals. But to those of us involved, there was something far more 'diabolical' going on. (cue thunder, lightning, and maniacal laughter) The roles were set, the candles lit, the altar was put upon her mantle, and I had donned white robes. This was a stark difference from the ebony garments that draped over the other attendees. We were going to have a ritual, and it was going to be one helluva good time! But this ritual was larger-than-life, for me especially. Not only was it going to be my first group ritual, but the occasion was also ...

Satanic Masculinity

(Although I am a member, I do not speak for the Church of Satan) I am not the most ripped, deep-voiced, red-blooded, testosterone-fueled, macho man. I am a slightly effeminate, well groomed, semi-whispy little man-thing that is not afraid to admit that he likes the occasional chick flick; or that he feels more at ease being a homebody complete with cooking and cleaning. I am not much of a skirt-chaser either. Admittedly, I am more adept to being alone and perusing my interests. On the opposite side, I like some things which are traditionally considered masculine. I enjoy watching the occasional hockey game, smoking a cigar with some choice fellas down at the lounge while we discuss politics, and (occasionally) scoping some of the eye-candy that steps into a bar while I am downing a beer. What is the overall point I am making? It is this: In the eyes of the modern progressive liberal (more regressive if one were, to be honest) the beginning paragraph is viewed as a set of ...

Strolling Down the Left Hand Path With...Aden Ardennes

Greetings! I'm so glad you have found your way at the crossroads yet again, dear reader, and this time I have a special guest joining me today. Aden Ardennes! For those of you who may not know this man, Aden Ardennes is a publisher of a very naughty periodical called HORNS Magazine, which specializes in homo-erotica that caters specifically to gay and bisexual male occultists. Moving along in other endeavors of a sexual nature, he has also written a book called Militant Eroticism; a tome filled essays and observations about sexuality, fetishes, relationships, and the overall craziness that can occur between the sheets. His websites can be found here but (and I think you already know this) they are not safe for work! http://www.hornsmagazine.com/ http://www.militanteroticism.com/ With the pleasantries now out of the way, won't you join us as we take a walk down on the third side?   1. Let's get to the nitty-gritty. How did you discover Satanism?    Well, much...

The Pagan Heritage

Harken back to the tales of the ancients. The Greeks had a plethora of deities, all filled to the brim with very human foibles and appetites. Zeus was a shape-shifting pervert; a notorious womanizer and sired many demigods. Pan was a bisexual, size-queen who got down and dirty with the ladies and the fellas. The accounts of the Greco-Roman gods' sexual escapades were endless. The licentiousness of gods not only played a part in Greek mythology, but many myths also speak of horny gods. Ancient Japanese mythology has an account of how light literally returned to the world: It was all thanks to Uzume, goddess of entertainment, and her famous striptease for the gods; all of which were merely trying to lure Amaterasu, goddess of the sun, out of a cave with promises of a dirty good time. In Africa, the Ioa, patron spirits of Voodoo lore, are known to get down and dirty; and enjoy smokes, booze, and telling dirty jokes. So what do all of these seemingly different cultures have in commo...
